Hysata Chief Commercial Officer, Daniel Tas Sandermann, was in Oman last week for Hydrom’s inaugural GH2 Investor Day.
Oman has the makings to be a global sustainability leader, featuring impressive renewable capacity for wind and solar, ambitious hydrogen programs and an attractive location for manufacturing.
Australia can be the home of electrolyser manufacturing, but the ambition of governments like Oman, matched with attractive policy for onshoring electrolyser manufacturing is a good reminder of the fierce global competition in this sector.
Joined by our investors Templewater and Oman Investment Authority, the event was a great opportunity to hear from Hydrom Eng. Managing Director Abdulaziz Al Shidhani and Oman Minister of Energy and Minerals H.E Salim Al Aufi.
Also great to see that Hysata’s strategic partners, POSCO and BP, are well represented in the Sultanate’s green hydrogen tenders.
Hysata looks forward to continuing to grow our partnership with Oman as it progresses its green hydrogen goals.
