Jasim Al Ajmi is Vice President of Sustainability & Communication at OQ, where he leads the Group’s sustainability strategy, corporate communications and stakeholder engagement. He oversees key areas including sustainability, corporate communications, social investment, advocacy and external affairs, supporting OQ’s brand positioning, organisational alignment and long-term value creation.
With more than 18 years of experience, Jasim has built a distinguished career across leading organisations including Shell, OQ, OQ8 and Bank Muscat. His professional journey reflects strong expertise in sustainability, social performance and corporate affairs, with a track record of advancing responsible business practices and strengthening stakeholder relationships in Oman.
Prior to his current role, Jasim served as Vice President – Corporate Affairs at OQ8, where he led initiatives across sustainability, ESG, communications and stakeholder engagement.
Jasim holds a Master’s degree in Management & Entrepreneurship from Cranfield University, UK, and certification as a Sustainability Practitioner from the Centre for Sustainability Excellence (UK).
