HOW ARE WE CREATING A MORE SUSTAINABLE EVENT?

Dedicated to advancing national sustainability goals, OSW drives measurable progress through strategic events, targeted CSR initiatives, and active community outreach. By holding our own operations to the highest environmental and social standards, we empower organizations and communities across Oman to embrace the sustainability shift.

Repurposing of event builds & materials

Our event feature areas, set and stage are repurposed for multi-usage and exhibitor stands are produced with reusable wood.

Sustainable Stand Construction Award

We encourage exhibitors and contractors to use recyclable material for fabricating the stand, awarding special recognition for the best sustainable stand construction.

Digital registration & show literature

We conduct an online registrations process and e-badges are available to use to gain entry to the event. Our pre-event marketing campaign also comprises digital material and non-print media for promotions.

Reducing food wastage

To minimise food wastage, we contract experienced F&B partners for precision in food quality.

Reducing single use plastic

We replace single-use plastic with recyclable glass, wherever applicable.

Sustainable venue practices

We work with OCEC who are actively working towards reducing their carbon footprint by utilising solar panels which generate up to 25% of their energy needs.
