NATIONAL OBJECTIVES

Oman Vision 2040 is a roadmap for achieving the Sultanate’s economic and social goals while balancing sustainable development and optimal use of natural resources.

The 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals are interconnected, demanding collaboration among governments, the private sector, civil society, and other stakeholders to achieve meaningful impact.

OSW champions Oman’s commitment to achieving Net Zero CO₂ by 2050, ensuring broader energy access by 2030, and enhancing air quality through leading emissions reduction initiatives.

The Paris Agreement provides Oman with a framework to achieve cost-effective emission reductions while enabling the transfer of advanced carbon mitigation technologies.
