يهدف أسبوع عُمان للاستدامة إلى تسليط الضوء على التزام سلطنة عُمان بقيادة الاستدامة من خلال استراتيجيات مبتكرة تتماشى مع رؤية عُمان 2040 وأهداف الأمم المتحدة للتنمية المستدامة وصافي الانبعاثات الصفرية بحلول عام 2050.


ويشرك هذا الحدث المؤسسات و أصحاب الأعمال و المختصين في التنمية الوطنية لتقديم عُمان كنموذج حديث للتنمية المستدامة وتحقيق الهدف العالمي المتمثل في صافي الانبعاثات الصفرية بحلول عام 2050.

الأهداف الوطنية


رؤية عُمان 2040 هي خارطة طريق لتحقيق الأهداف الاقتصادية والاجتماعية للسلطنة مع تحقيق التوازن بين التنمية المستدامة والاستخدام الأمثل للموارد الطبيعية.


أهداف التنمية المستدامة للأمم المتحدة 17 مترابطة وتتطلب من اصحاب الاعمال والحكومات والقطاع الخاص والمجتمع المدني أن يتحدوا في شراكة تعاونية.


يركز أسبوع عُمان للاستدامة على تعزيز هدف سلطنة عُمان المتمثل في صافي صفر ثاني أكسيد الكربون بحلول عام 2050 ، وتحسين الوصول إلى الطاقة بحلول عام 2030 ، وتحسين جودة الهواء مع الريادة في الحد من الانبعاثات.


تعتبر اتفاقية باريس آلية إضافية لسلطنة عُمان لتحقيق خفض الانبعاثات بكفاءة من حيث التكلفة وتسهيل نقل تكنولوجيا تخفيف الكربون.

يوفر أسبوع عُمان للاستدامة فرصة لتبادل الخبرات والمعارف ويتضمن أحدث تقنيات الاستدامة والحلول والمبادرات من جميع أنحاء العالم ، والتي ستساهم في الجهود المبذولة نحو تمكين الاستدامة من خلال استراتيجيات مبتكرة تتماشى مع أهداف التنمية المستدامة للأمم المتحدة.
